Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Practice Body - FAQ

How far are you into your education
of Osteopathy?

I am 1/2 way through the 3rd year of my four year program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

How long does it take, and what should I wear?

20-45 mins per session. Wear something comfortable that you can move easily in and will keep your body covered as I move you through various table positions.

Is this massage?

No, it is very different from massage. Yes I am a registered massage therapist, but this is a different approach to the body as described in the video.

Where will my appointment be?

At my home clinic north of the U of A Botanic Gardens on highway 60.

How much does it cost?

I appreciate and can accept donations towards my education fund, but currently I do not have a set charge as this is part of my education and getting hands on bodies is critical for my development.

How often can I sign up?

I will need practice bodies throughout my entire 4 year education so there will be plenty of opportunities and you most certainly can and are encouraged to book multiple times.
